WINCHESTER POLICE DEPARTMENT Accident ? James Aldridge, 18, of Georgetown, was attempting to turn left from Belmont Avenue onto Main Street when he collided with Dulcie Caudill, 41, of 154 Cook Ave. Caudill was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center. Charged ? Earl C. Salyers, 45, of 75 Holiday Road, was served Friday with a warrant for fourth-degree assault (DVO). ? Lloyd Craycraft, 38, of Clay City, was charged Friday with alcohol intoxication in public and disorderly conduct.

A Montgomery County car dealership owner was found shot to death in his home early Tuesday, prompting a murder investigation by Kentucky State Police. Carl Bartley, 58, of Jeffersonville, was found in his home at about 8 a.m. after family members called police with concern that they hadn't heard from him, according to KSP. Troopers gained access to his home on Highway 1050 in Jeffersonville and found his body inside. Bartley, owner of Bartley's Used Cars on Main Street, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:55 p.m. The cause of death is pending results of an autopsy scheduled for today at the state Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort.

Maudie Wagers Taulbee, 95, of Jeffersonville, died Sunday, Jan. 16, at the Windsor Care Center. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at the Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals Chapel in Mount Sterling. Burial will follow in the Amburgey-Lovely Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church, c/o Milton McKensta, 4014 Delaney Perry Road, Versailles, KY 40383.

Colleen Bentley Flack, 81, of Winchester, widow of Henry Flack, passed away on Thursday, March 31, at the Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation Center.   Mrs. Flack was born in Neon, Ky., on Aug. 24, 1929 to the late Mack and Ada Franklin Bentley.   She was a former motel owner, a homemaker and a member of the Macedonia Christian Church. Survivors include three sons, Michael R. Flack of San Antonio, Texas, Jack R. Flack of Winchester and Scott C. Flack of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren, Judy Turley of Panama City Beach, Fla., David Flack of Panama City Beach, Fla., Brian Flack of Winchester and Christy Barber of Jeffersonville; one brother, John Bentley of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Margaret Manasco of Versailles; and a number of great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Evelyn Pennington Tackett, 79, of Mount Sterling, formerly of Winchester, widow of Herbert Tackett, passed away Saturday at her home.   A native of Jackson County, she was born March 9, 1932, to the late Ben and Ottie Arnold Pennington.    She was a member of the Three Cross Baptist Mission in Clay City.   Survivors include four sons, Ronnie Rowland of Mount Sterling, Douglas Tackett of Lexington, Billy Tackett of Mount Sterling and Darrell Tackett of Winchester; two daughters, Brenda Tackett of Mount Sterling and Vicki Baba of Jeffersonville; brothers, Marvin Pennington of Connersville, Ind., and Edward Pennington of Moraine, Ohio; companion, Jack Blondell of Winchester; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
