He was born Nov. 9 at St. Joseph East in Lexington and weighed 10 pounds and 2 ounces and was 22 and one-quarter inches long. Grandparents are Albert and Sharon Prewitt of Mount Sterling and Ray and Jane Brookshire of Clark County. Great-grandparents are Anna Mary Brookshire of Clark County and Lottie Joseph of Mount Sterling. JOSEPH ISAIAH HEDGER William Joe Hedger and Shanda Renee Mullins of Jeffersonville announce the birth of their son, Joseph Isaiah Hedger.

Kaden Clay Muncie Jessica Trusty and Gary Muncie announce the birth of their son, Kaden Clay Muncie. He was born Aug. 22 at Clark Regional Medical Center. His grandparents are Lisa and David Trusty of Sharpsburg and Isaac "Buddy" and Lois Muncie of Mount Sterling. Kara Marie Leininger Neil and Sandra Leininger announce the birth of their daughter, Kara Marie Leininger. She was born Aug. 20 at Clark Regional Medical Center. Her grandparents are Ann Leininger of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Donald Knapke of Dayton, Ohio.

A woman who was driving a getaway car for a man who robbed banks in Clark and Montgomery counties last year was sentenced to 35 months in prison and ordered to pay $29,300 in restitution last week. Erica Walker, 23, of Frenchburg, admitted that she was the driver of a green Nissan Altima that helped Gregory Wayne Conner flee after robbing two banks last year. She pleaded guilty to the crime in January. Conner, 27, of Clay City, robbed the Community Trust Bank in Winchester in April of last year, stealing $29,393.

Evelyn Pennington Tackett, 79, of Mount Sterling, formerly of Winchester, widow of Herbert Tackett, passed away Saturday at her home.   A native of Jackson County, she was born March 9, 1932, to the late Ben and Ottie Arnold Pennington.    She was a member of the Three Cross Baptist Mission in Clay City.   Survivors include four sons, Ronnie Rowland of Mount Sterling, Douglas Tackett of Lexington, Billy Tackett of Mount Sterling and Darrell Tackett of Winchester; two daughters, Brenda Tackett of Mount Sterling and Vicki Baba of Jeffersonville; brothers, Marvin Pennington of Connersville, Ind., and Edward Pennington of Moraine, Ohio; companion, Jack Blondell of Winchester; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
