STANFORD - Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger will be getting three new SUVs for his fleet. The Lincoln County Fiscal Court approved Tuesday a plan to purchase and equip three Ford Explorers at a total cost of about $96,800. Funding for the purchase will be financed through a lease from the Kentucky Association of Counties that will be paid off using budgeted vehicle funds from the sheriff's budget. The sheriff's budget includes $25,000 annually for paying off vehicles. Folger said his department has finished paying off the most recently purchased vehicles, freeing up that money to go toward new vehicles.
