Some kids have no problem getting a winter coat. For others, it's an issue, and one organization is doing something about it. The local Marine Corps League, Detachment 1012, is conducting its annual "Koatz for Kids" drive in an effort to supply coats for needy children in Madison County and the surrounding areas. The league has drop-off at both Wal-Mart locations in Richmond and Berea and also at the Kroger location in Richmond. The league will be accepting coats at those three locations through Nov. 26. The coats will be distributed Nov. 3-26 at the Richmond Mall.
