Bob “James Robert” Harris, 81, of Hustonville, died today. Arrangements are pending at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home, Moreland.

Julie Lane Ellis, 82, of Hustonville, died Wednesday, Oct. 24.   Born Feb. 10, 1930, Julie was a daughter of the late Fred and Nellie Mullins Pemberton.  She was the widow of Charlie Lane and Luther Ellis.   Survivors include a son, Jimmy (Judy) Lane of Hustonville; sister, Leona Vaught of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, James (Racheal) Lane, Amanda Lane and Stacy (Tommy) Keller; four great grandchildren, Dustin and Matthew Keller and Amber and Chloe Lane; and a niece, Terri Norris, who was like a daughter.

Dennis D. Stratton, 54, of Parksville, died Sun. Oct. 28.  Born Oct. 20, 1958, in Danville, Dennis was a son Wanda Gilpin Stratton and the late O.D. Stratton. He was a construction worker and had attended the Mitchellsburg Church of God.        Other survivors include a son, Dennis Stratton, II; a daughter, Natasha (Franklin) Southerland; a brother, Tim (Tina) Stratton of Mitchellsburg; a sister, Sandy (Jody) Adams; and seven grandchildren, Dakota and Jacob Stringfield, Landyn Southerland and Alex, Allie, Sheyanne and Skylar Stratton.        Visitation was Oct. 31 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland.

Charlie Clee Burton, 85, of Lancaster, formerly of Hustonville, died Saturday, Sept. 22.   Born Dec. 11, 1926, Charlie was a son of the late Etta Mae Kazee Taylor and Sam Burton. He was the widower of Rose Davis Burton.  Survivors include a son, Danny (Becky) Burton; seven daughters, Flossie West, Jean Adams, Libby Flores, Ann (Roy) Hargis, Brenda (Harvey) Southerland and Carrie Denson; a twin sister, Arlie (Jack) Noe; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and four  great, great grandchildren.    Funeral services were Sept.

Betty P. Routt, 93, of Danville, died Tuesday, Sept. 11.   Born March 25, 1919, in Moreland, Betty was a daughter of the late George and Mary Taylor Clarkson. She worked at Corning Glass for 24 years before retiring and  was the widow of Luther Farris Mason and James S. Routt.   Survivors include two sons, Farris (Connie) Mason and Luther Mason; two daughters, Charlene (Ralph) Francis and Linda McMillan; one brother, Charles B. Clarkson; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.  Funeral services were Sept.

Gary Dale Campbell, 63, of Liberty, died Wednesday, Sept. 12.  Born Feb. 7, 1949, Gary was a son of the late Sam Campbell and Dorothy King Miller.   Survivors include his wife, Susie Benedict Campbell; sons, Gary and Keith Campbell and Andy and Scott Mills; daughters, Angela Mills, Janet Barron and Glenda Mills; a brother, Jerry “Doodle” Campbell; sisters, Joanne Smith and Connie Atwood; 16 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.  Funeral services were Sept. 15 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home  in Moreland with Bro.  Ronnie Dobson officiating.

Minnie Ethel Lane Luster, 89, of Hustonville, died Sunday, Sept. 2.   Born Sept. 18, 1922, Minnie was a daughter of the late Lafe and Elizabeth Gibson Lane.   She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Arlos Luster; and a son, Larry Luster.   Survivors include one son, Glen (Pam) Luster; one brother, James Lane; two sisters,  Flora Asbury and Mable Herring; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Luster; seven grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.   Funeral services were Sept.
