HARRODSBURG - A Harrodsburg man was stopped by police Saturday for violating his parole and found himself in deeper trouble. Cash Ray Moore II, 25, of 700 Old Dixville Road, was charged with felony probation violation, and possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Boyle County Detention Center. Officer Scott Elder said he spotted Moore walking in the Brentwood subdivision and knew there was a warrant on him for not reporting to his probation officers.

The following cases were resolved Aug. 7 in Clark Circuit Court with Judge Gary D. Payne presiding. - Steven B. Sexton, probation violation, stipulated to violation, probation revoked, credit for time served granted. - Jeremy Smith, probation violation, stipulated to violation, probation revoked, given serve out with credit for time served. The following civil cases were filed in Clark Circuit Court. - Ricky Lynn Estes vs. Kentucky Association of Counties, seeking damages for accident.

LANCASTER - Garrard Circuit Judge Hunter Daugherty heard it from both sides Friday before deciding the fate of Tyler Brock. Brock's attorney, Gary Crabtree, painted an idyllic picture of his client as valedictorian and star athlete at his high school who had completed 3 1⁄2 years of college with high marks and had designs on becoming a game warden or park ranger. Brock never had been arrested, Crabtree said, and has “tremendous support of family and friends” back in Laurel County, many of whom were in the courtroom.
