• Cleston M. Collins, 43, 721 Beauford Place #7, was arrested Aug. 14 at Union Mill and Vince roads, and charged with improper signaling and driving without insurance. • Steven L. Fletcher, 28, 111 Fonda Lane, was arrested Aug. 19 on South Elkhorn Road and charged with reckless driving, and fleeing and evading police. Fletcher led a deputy on a 3-mile chase during which he exceeded 100 mph on a motorcycle, according to the report. • Ronnie L. Parker, 45, 115 Oakwood Drive, was arrested Aug. 20 at 41 Lucas Drive and charged with public intoxication.

WINCHESTER POLICE ACCIDENTS - At 9:58 p.m. Friday police responded to a hit-and-run injury accident at Pedro Way in the Wal-Mart parking lot. A vehicle driven by Heather Little, 1333 Dale Drive, was rear-ended. The driver of the other vehicle, Kelly R. Harris of Lexington, fled and was later arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and DUI. - At 5:14 p.m. Monday on North Maple Street, Carson Reece of Clay City hit the back of a vehicle driven by John Whitton of Owingsville.

Charged - Jonathan L. Woods, 26, of 123 Magnolia St., was charged Wednesday with public intoxication and second-degree possession of a controlled substance. Reports - At 2:29 p.m. Wednesday, a person reported a possible theft of jewelry. - At 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Walmart after a customer received a counterfeit $50 bill from an ATM. - At 1:05 a.m. today, officers were called to 54 N. Main St. after someone broke an apartment door.

Howard, violation of EPO/DVO, dismissed. - Jacob J. Jones, theft by unlawful taking, pleaded guilty, 45 days conditionally discharged; third-degree criminal trespassing, dismissed.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF Report - At 2:05 p.m. Monday, the Clark County Circuit Clerk reported that someone gave the clerks office a counterfeit $10 bill. Charged - Tony D. Gross, 29, of 309 Hamilton St., was charged June 21 with contempt of court. - Susan Hall, 26, of 1050 Schollsville Road, was charged Friday with first-degree criminal trespassing, public intoxication and giving a false name. - Jason Litteral, 22, of 238 Old Muddy Creek Road, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree assault.

Oldfield, 20, of 2090 Muddy Creek Road, was charged Monday with speeding and license to be in possession. - Lawrence E. Greene, 21, of 320 Oxford Drive, was charged Monday with drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public place, public intoxication and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
