Three arrested on alcohol charges LIBERTY - Three people were arrested on alcohol-related charges Friday in two separate incidents in Casey County. According to the Casey County Sheriff's Department, Louis Cox, 61, of 8574 Ky. 70, was arrested for driving under the influence. Cox's passenger, Maxine Hale, 60, of the same address, was charged with public intoxication. Both were arrested at 9:20 p.m., taken to Casey County Detention Center and released Saturday morning. Sharon Close, 50, of Cambellsville, was charged at 4:03 p.m. with DUI and failure to use child restraints.

WINCHESTER¿POLICE Charged - Sara McGuire, 29, of 511 N. Main St. Apt. 3, was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct, alcohol intoxication and second-degree wanton endangerment. - Rebecka Townsend, 28, of 29 Buckner St. Apt. C, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking, public intoxication, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Reports - At 8:54 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 304 Carolina Ave. concerning a domestic disturbance.

• Johnny E. Davis, 36, 109 Alexandria Circle, was arrested Aug. 21 at 1301 West Lane and charged with public intoxication. • Tracey K. Smith, 31, 1665 Glass Mill Road, was arrested Aug. 24 at 1051 Short Shun Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and second-degree possession of a controlled substance. • Robert Douglas White Jr., 30, 8412 N. Hamner Ave., Tampa, Fla., was arrested Aug. 24 at 1051 Short Shun Road and charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Lincoln teens arrested in Casey LIBERTY - Two people were arrested Friday after state police stopped a vehicle to check for a seat-belt violation. Driver Matthew A. Maddox, 18, of 910 Harris Creek Road, Stanford, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, no driver's license, no insurance and no registration receipt, according to a report by Trooper Bryon Shepard. Maddox's passenger, Michael Maples, 18, of 3200 Ky. 1194, Stanford, was charged with public intoxication after he allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana.

Kimberly G. Anderson, 30, Junction City, first-degree wanton endangerment, amended to harassment, 90 days, credit for five days served, remaining time probated one year. April L. Hutchins, 18, 235 Hollensworth Manor, public intoxication with controlled substance, 30 days; first-degree possession of controlled substance, amended to possession of controlled substance first offense, 365 days; use/possession of drug paraphernalia, 30 days, all time to run concurrently, credit for nine days served, remaining time probated two years.

Canter, public intoxication, pleaded guilty, one day; possession of marijuana, pleaded guilty, fined; tampering with physical evidence, amended to attempt, dismissed. - Isaac Cornett, theft by failure to make required disposition of property, amended to misdemeanor, pleaded guilty, 180 days, restitution; contempt of court, dismissed. - Christy Cramer, theft by failure to make required disposition of property, amended to attempt, pleaded guilty, 180 days, 179 days conditionally discharged, restitution.

Booker, 60, 404 Garden Park Drive, was arrested at Shun Pike and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drug/alcohol. • Billy Watts, 56, 3030 Lexington Road, Lot. 57, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
