WINCHESTER¿POLICE Charged - Angela C. Adams, 41, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking, public intoxication, giving officer a false name and theft of identity. - Tonya Lynn Barrett, 34, was charged Wednesday with See POLICE, A3 driving on a DUI-suspended operator's license (second offense), possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to maintain insurance, no or expired registration plate and no operator's license. - Gordon B.¿Daniels, 38, was charged Wednesday with second-degree fleeing or evading police and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

•Steven Eric Whitaker, 22, 140 Coolbreeze Drive, was arrested Jan. 15 on Elmwood Court and charged with receiving stolen property, $10,000 or more. • Bennie Sullivan, 53, 300 Edgewood Drive No. 7, was arrested Jan. 16 at the same address and charged with fourth-degree assault. • Cynthia M. Perez, 45, 121 Gaines Way Drive, was arrested Jan. 15 at Walmart (1024 N. Main St.) and charged with theft by unlawful taking - shoplifting. • Stephen R. Carnes, 43, 212 Squires Way, was arrested Jan. 15 on Lexington Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and speeding 13 MPH over the limit.

Coleman, 50, 200 Walker Court, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, 90 days, to serve 30 days, credit for 20 days served, remaining time probated one year. Charles H. Craig Jr., Mississippi, possession of open alcohol container in vehicle, dismissed; driving under the influence of intoxicants, second offense, $350, 90 days, to serve 14 days, credit for five days served, remaining time probated one year, license suspended 18 months.
