Dear Editor, I am writing today with a heavy heart. The news of LeeRoy Hardin resigning really disturbed me. He is an elected official who has tried to do all he could for our county. But some people in high places didn't let him do his job. I hope the next sheriff has some better support than Mr. Hardin had. Stay strong LeeRoy, and thanks for protecting us from crime. You will be missed. Jerry Potts Danville
