WAYNESBURG - A Somerset man died in a one-vehicle wreck along a sharp curve in Ky. 1781 shortly after midnight Sunday, barely a year after another fatal wreck in almost exactly the same spot. Clarence Baugh, 27, was traveling alone at about 12:20 a.m. when his vehicle traveled off the edge of the road, flipped multiple times and landed in a creek, state police said. Baugh was not wearing a seatbelt and alcohol use is believed to be a factor in the wreck. Lincoln County Coroner Farris Marcum said Baugh was traveling at a high rate of speed along Ky. 1781 and passing multiple other vehicles on the road.
