WINCHESTER¿POLICE Charged - Phillip R. Barber, 21, was charged Tuesday with possession of marijuana and no or expired registration plate. - Tony L.¿Ginter, 48, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in proper container, public intoxication, theft by unlawful taking and third-degree criminal trespassing. - Nicholas Ryan McCarty, 26, was charged Monday with possession of marijuana and was served a warrant.

- At 3:03 a.m. Saturday, firefightes responded to a single vehicle accident at 1501 Ford Road. - At 7:53 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a fire alarm sounding at Turner Seed at Mount Sterling Road. - Sunday at 9:05 p.m., firefighters responded to a possible structure fire on Dry Fork Creek Road that turned out to be a controlled burn. - At 12:41 a.m. today, firefightes conducted an EMS assist at 845 Donnelson Road.

- On Wednesday, emergency personnel conducted one local transfer and one out-of-town transfer. They also  responded to three general medical calls, one fall, one diabetic emergency, one cardiac case and one motor vehicle collision. - At 4:33 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a dumpster fire at 555 Rolling Hills Lane. - At 12:07 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 525 N. Main, Trailer 5.
