The following cases were resolved in Clark District Court Feb. 20 with Judge Brandy Oliver Brown presiding. - Donnie Marvin Brown, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, amended to attempt, pleaded guilty, 360 days, 180 days conditionally discharged, restitution. -  Jeffrey E. Bruner, second-degree arson, preliminary hearing, probable cause found, sent to grand jury. -  Brandon T. Hallamon, sexual misconduct, pleaded guilty, 180 days, 126 days conditionally discharged.

• Guardioalo Christian, 28, 126 Robroy, was arrested Feb. 12 at Kroger, 995 S. Main St., and charged with theft by unlawful taking - shoplifting. • Darlene Peters, 47, 105 1/2 Cottage St., was arrested Feb. 16 at that address and charged with fourth-degree assault. • Kenneth L. Amburgey, 66, 232 Williamsburg Drive, was arrested Feb. 17 at that address and charged with harassing communications and third-degree terroristic threatening. • Paul A. Schember, 66, 521 Pin Oak Drive, was arrested Feb. 11 at 211 Maple Lane and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing.

LANCASTER - The following people were indicted last week by a Garrard County grand jury: * Kristopher W. Howell, 21, and Jordan S. O'Neal, 18, both of Lexington, burglary and theft for allegedly breaking into a building and taking items on Jan. 30. Summones were issued. Deputy Tevis Graham testified before the grand jury. * Nathan Travis Caldwell, 24, of Paint Lick, burglary and theft for allegedly breaking into a building and taking items between Oct. 5 and Nov. 2. Bond was set at $5,000.

Danville police are investigating a gun theft that was reported Monday.  Elmer Asher Jr. of 412 Grant St. told police he had five pistols stolen from his unlocked vehicle parked outside his residence. The theft occurred during the night between Sunday and Monday. Police Chief Tony Gray said the guns are a .380 pistol, a 9mm pistol and possibly three .22 caliber pistols. They were valued at about $1,000. Two knives and a bottle of liquor also were taken.  Anyone with information can contact police at (859)

WINCHESTER¿ POLICE   Arrests - Robert Reese, 23, was charged Thursday with assault in the 4th degree. - Darrin Ray Tays, 45, was charged Thursday with possession of drug paraphernalia. - Michael C. Weddington, 33, was charged Thursday with receiving stolen property less than $10,000, theft by unlawful taking and public intoxication. Reports - At 11:25 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to 16 S. Maple St. regarding a theft. - At 2:54 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 402 S. Maple St. concerning a rock that had been thrown through the front window while the occupant had been at work.
