Halloween is one holiday that poses a unique, potential threat to your pet's well being. For kids, the goal of trick-or-treating is to obtain as much candy as possible by going door to door dressed in costumes and beg for treats. In recent years, pets are getting in on the fun, even wearing custom-made pet costumes. However, some pets may not be used to crowds, scary costumes and spooky noises. Keep in mind, your pet could became frightened and behave uncharacteristically by running away, barking excessively, or even biting someone.

"Every time I go by some of the kids, they call it a punch buggy, and they punch each other," Hogue said. "They don't know whether to call it a punch buggy or a motorcycle. " Maybe both are right. Hogue, 63, made his newest vehicle out of the front end of a Honda GL-1000 motorcycle and the rear end of a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle, along with pieces from several other cars and bikes and even a rotor tiller.

Shannon Yeast of Harrodsburg has kept his 1994 Chevrolet S-10 in immaculate condition for the last 10 years. The member of Totally Tricked car and truck club bought the truck right out of high school and has slowly tricked it out into a low rider with a full air ride suspension. Yeast, 28, said he never intended to keep the truck so long. His father passed away six years ago, and Yeast decided then to keep the truck. Yeast's father was also a car enthusiast who loved to fix up classic rides and new vehicles as well.

U.S. Treasurer Anna Escobeda Cabral recently said that the new "fiver" allows the public to provide "the first line of defense" against counterfeiters.
